To conclude my journey towards a BFA in Graphic Design I developed a body of work for our Senior Exhibition titled "Motion's Essence". My goal was to create a piece that functioned effectively in a gallery setting, while representing my skills and interests as a Graphic Designer. I believe that movement is a fundamental part of who we are as humans so I explored the impact movement can have on people. I sought to break down the essence of why we all move, each subject explores a different movement pattern. Deconstructing each movement allowed me to develop my designs with an awareness of color, type, and illustration. The individuals I used for my work were interviewed to accurately portray their perspectives and feelings.
