At Red Maverick Media, I have contributed to numerous political campaigns for candidates across the United States. Collaborating closely with consultants and clients, I have crafted campaign materials, including political mailers, yard signs, and logos. Each project involves the delicate balance of capturing the client's unique perspectives, values, and brand identity.
In 2023, I designed Bill Woolf's logo for his upcoming races in Virginia. Bill specifically requested that the design appear sleek and modern, with a color palette inspired by the University of Virginia's logo. He also asked for the Virginia state outline to be utilized in the logo. The client also requested to incorporate the Virginia state outline into the logo. After experimenting with various placements, I settled on positioning it as a focal point between his name.
In 2023, I created Dr. Thomas McInroy's official logo design and branding. Dr. Thomas wanted his rebranding to incorporate an American color palette and pull design elements from the U.S. flag. He wanted his logo to feel resilient, reliable, and modern. I selected a prominent bold font alongside a geometric take on the iconic flag.
I teamed up with Ryan McDougle's team to redesign his logo, aiming for a more streamlined aesthetic while retaining the original color palette. Incorporating the state of Virginia was a specific request, prompting me to explore various placements. Opting for above the last name, the state effectively filled the negative space. By flattening the bottom of the Virginia outline, I achieved a cohesive and polished appearance that harmonized with the structural font used for his name.
I brainstormed with Brandon Monk's team to create a new logo for his upcoming State Senate District 1 campaign in November 2023. Brandon emphasized his rural Virginia roots and requested a classic red, white, and blue color palette for the design. Additionally, I produced a handout, business card, and memo to support Brandon in his campaign efforts.
In 2023, I developed Dave Wilson's new logo, brand identity, and accompanying print materials. Dave sought a bold, modern, and minimalist design that would be effective across social media and print formats. I focused the design around his name, employing bold typography and clean, straightforward shapes.
I worked on various mail pieces for Mac Molinaro's campaign in the Fall of 2022, where Marc won the race for New York's 19th Congressional District. I highlighted his objectives in each print piece while incorporating strong photography of Marc interacting with the community.
